Many Sided Media is getting even more sides! Introducing the Many Sided Network, a group of the most exciting shows we love in TTRPGs and broader nerd culture! In addition to our well-known favorites—My First Dungeon, Talk of the Table, and Bitcherton—we added five more podcasts to the network to help elevate all our shows and grow together through shared resources and mutual support.
So what are these hot shows, you ask? I’d be thrilled to tell you! From deep dives into game mechanics to video game exploration and lots of actual play, here are the five newest additions to the Many Sided Network.
Dice Exploder
A show about tabletop RPG design! Each episode we bring you a single mechanic and break it down as deep as we possibly can. Co-hosted by Sam Dunnewold and a rotating roster of designers.
Maia’s Game Room
Maia’s Game Room is a narrative actual play anthology featuring rules-light, story-driven TTRPGs from both indie and major publishers. Each season is a self-contained tale with a new system, setting, and cast—crafted with cinematic sound design, emotional storytelling, and tight editing. You can start anywhere. The podcast launches with The Electric State RPG by Free League Publishing, with future seasons exploring Tales from the Loop, Paint the Town Red, and more.
Tales Yet Told
Tales Yet Told is an award-winning Actual Play podcast, focused on collaboratively telling stories at the intersection of queerness and horror using Indie TTRPGs. Our stories center on troubled characters struggling to be true to themselves in uncompromising worlds that would rather bend and break them than allow them to exist as they are. From cold-hearted killers driving down school hallways to naval soldiers rising from the depths of the ocean, Tales Yet Told is filled with heart-wrenching drama, hair-raising body horror, and enough humor in between to light the darkness.
Which Many Sided Network show do you plan to start listening to first?
Dorkspawn
A video game book-club podcast. Dorkspawn was created because Dillin wanted to show his best friend his favorite video game series, Dragon Age, which Robin had never played. Now they are moving on to other, choice-heavy video games to share and discuss book-club style.
Mage Hand High Five
Join this trio of wild west gunslingers and magical cutthroats as they descend into the dusty, lawless frontier in the multi-award-winning actual play The Badlands.
